The employees that work in assisted living are super friendly – memory care employees were not as friendly. I would tell others to make sure you provide them a 30 day written notice if you are going to be moving your loved one out. I reached out to Brookdale for information I needed to help find a new home for my relative and no one ever responded.
My sister and I toured Brookdale when we were looking for assisted living places for our parents. We happened to meet the sales manager who gave us a tour of the studio apartment. She was extremely helpful and provided the most information of anyone we have come across in our journey. She is a great asset to Brookdale and we learned a lot from her in the short time we spoke. Fortunately, our parents are able to stay in their home for the time being, so we have put our search on hold for now. However, I am so glad we had the opportunity to meet the sales manager.
The grace of God lead us here. kept calling me and everything just ended up working out perfectly. The management staff is top notch and they have been great. The meals are really good and my mom is very happy with the options that she gets to choose from. I would recommend Brookdale N. Fredericksburg Road to others.
The staff were so incredibly nice during our tour. The reason we did not go with this facility was because it felt more institutional and it was not updated. We were looking for something that felt more like an apartment complex.
