Life Enriching Communities, one of the Cincinnati tri-state areas leading non-profit senior living providers, was experiencing continued growth. Set on a 67-acre campus in Cincinnatis Montgomery area, their Twin Lakes Senior Living Community was facing a growing need for more amenity-rich housing. LEC began investigating an expansion plan to increase their independent living amenities, supportive common areas and available parking space.

Creation

Following the development of early masterplan sketches and a charrette to further define LECs goals for the expansion, our team proposed an addition to the existing three-story form that would complement the existing architectural style.

With the additional 45 apartments for independent living, the expanded space also includes a community meeting facility and a new casual dining venue. Whether popping in for a breakfast pastry and freshly brewed coffee or a leisurely afternoon spent with a book in front of the fire, the bistro is a cozy corner offering hearty, small bites all day long for residents and their guests to enjoy.
