Horrible place that is trying to keep all the money after grandmother passed-she was only here for 8 months before passing.

My mom has lived at Oak Crest Assistant Living facility for about 1 year. Recently, she complained of pain in her side. Upon examination, we found that her whole side was bruised. Xrays showed 5 fractured ribs. Mom will not tell the police who did this to her because she is afraid of retaliation. Their investigation is closed saying that it was an injury of unknown origin. There are workers who are complaining of being underpaid, overworked, and resentful to have to work on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. My mom was injured on Thanksgiving.

Understaffing was not addressed as needed to save money. Promise of work life balance promised but not delivered. Bad employees have too many chances to stick around. Problems take too long to get addressed causing a lot of frustration with hourly employees to go elsewhere.

• Great group of people that are very attentive to the residents. They have gone above and beyond to take care of my mother

• Way Above Expectations! We brought my Mom to the Atrium at Oak Crest just a few weeks ago and we have been impressed by the facility, the food and the staff.The resident rooms are well kept and much larger than similar facilities. Common spaces show the rich history and charm of Oak Crest. The food is very good. We have had lunch onsite twice and were amazed at the quality. Most importantly the staff has been amazing. My mom who had withdrawn from almost all social activities is now participating and having fun. And the staff has been fantastic. Caring, friendly and helpful all the time.
