I chose Solstice Senior Living because it was more friendly looking place when we came to tour. The apartment sizes are really good, I have no problem with that. There have been over four management changes in just the last year. This continual change is difficult especially when some excellent, caring individuals have been replaced with a current manager who treats residents and other employees in a manner that is disrespectful, rude and is non-inclusive. The food has always suffered in quality but now that the place is no longer fun – it’s hard to see so many have to endure this such a challenging age of life. Erik brings a rich history of service to Solstice Senior Living. After 10 years as a Hospital Corpsman Second Class in the U.S. Navy, he worked as an outside sales representative for KLS Martin, a maxillofacial reconstruction and orthognathic surgery plating supply company in San Diego, California.
After transitioning out of the Navy and graduating from college, Erik worked in the culinary industry with major food companies, including Bloomin Brands, Sysco Foods and Hyatt Brands select service division.

I Visited This Facility
Solstice Senior Living at Sandy was dirty and I did not like it at all. I wouldn’t move there. They could work on their cleanliness. The bathroom had dried poop on the floors, on the walls, on the toilet, and on the sink. And that was the bathroom in their dining room. They gave me apple juice in a bottle, and they had taken the paper off of the bottle and just reused the bottle that’s very unhealthy. I would not recommend anybody go to that place. I was not impressed with any of it. I had a friend with me who said that I should not live there. I was not impressed with the person who gave us the tour she didn’t have time for us.
