My partner was there for several weeks. He was transferred from the hospital to Capistrano, after having back surgery caused by a blood infection. The nursing staff took wonderful care of him, as did the physical therapist and occupational therapist. The entire staff is top notch. I was a daily visitorthe place is clean, friendly, caring and kind. Health and safety are a priority for staff, visitors and clients. Very nice place, walking paths, patios. I spent 45 days in the facility while I recovered from back surgery and a blood infection. The facility is modern, clean and well maintained. While I was there my room was cleaned daily and I received excellent knowledgeable nursing care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. They offered a wide selection of food that was served three times daily with snacks in the afternoon. The staff was caring and responsive to all my needs.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/past Resident
My father was in Brookdale. People were punching because they were agitated in the memory care unit, so I got him out of there. The staff cried when he left because they loved him, and it was a very emotional parting. I was only there a couple of times. I understand it was good, but you had to go through locked doors, like a prison. The food service and everything was fantastic, everybody was fantastic. They had music, art work, walking, and outdoor activities. The rooms were great because he had his own bathroom, and they did his laundry and everything. He had a beautiful view of the mountains and the beautiful flowers. Now, hes looking at a brick wall where he is. It was gorgeous, and I loved it.

We went to Brookdale . The staff was lovely, but I was underwhelmed by the facility. I wouldnt live there. It is really a fine, lovely place, but Im just not interested. They have an activity center but no pool. The amenities were fairly limited. The dining area was fine, and the food was very good.

I Visited This Facility
It was the nicest place I visited. It’s beautiful, very friendly, the people there seem to enjoy it, and the little apartments are clean. The dining area looked like a very nice restaurant. They have group discussions, a library, a restaurant, a little coffee shop with coffee, cookies, and snacks for free all the time, an outdoor patio where you can go outside around the garden, a little walking path, and a nice sitting area out front. It’s where I wanted my uncle to go.
