The pay is great but they want you to sell, sell, sell – use whatever tactics you have to – to make the sale. Even it is resorting to guilt to make a family feel bad about not choosing Bickford.
Worst place I’ve ever worked at management and corporate DO NOT CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEES OR RESIDENTS. Employees are just a number Residents are nothing more than a dollar figure
Its a great place to work at overall from the employees to the residents sometimes they make the job harder than what its suppose to be at times but I just felt like it was time for me to move on and better for myself
Director doesnt care about employees. Puts own needs first. However, you do get hours. There is no advancement. I definitely wouldnt recommend. The most enjoyable part of this job is the residents! Creating friendships with them. Typical day consists of getting breakfast ready for them. Activities after. Then getting lunch ready. Doing showers and/or laundry. After shift is over, taking out trash. Be careful, they will add you on medical benefits without consent. Then you have to wait until enrollment time to discontinue.
The “administration” dont care about the working people they will overwork its staff or try to get you to work one way or another or come with the phrase”You’re owned by the company so you have to do it” wich is not acceptable in any way possible.
